what a week!

ok, so on tuesday our lawyer comes into my office and tells me that we have to pay $5000 more than we expected if we want our house. what!?! what happened. seems as though the mb conference gave us a lower mortgage than we wanted which made our initial payment higher. this put me in a bit of a panic. "how are we supposed to pay? we can't pay now!" well, call the conference, duh. so i proceeded to call the conference. oh, the guy that's in charge in on vacation in bc until may 8th. "we move in on the 1st!" you can email him. he always checks his email. "oh no the email's not working!" "faye (our admin assistant), could you fix the email?" done. email. done. email back. within 5 minutes. boy, that was a panicky half hour!

so yesterday kimberly and i went absolutly crazy in packing. all we have upstairs now is our bed, our tv, our gamecube, our dvd player, a couch, and the food in the fridge. EVERYTHING else in ready to be taken out downstairs. we packed for 10 hours yesterday, but it'll make for a very smooth monday.

so, for all of you who are coming out on monday. here's what you need to know. be at the garfield house at 9:15am. bring a bag lunch. if you stick around for supper, we will provide a pizza supper as payment. thanks
