This Week in Running
Alrighty then...
So the past week went like this...
Did 4 on Monday, 5 on Wednesday, 5 on Thursday, and 13 on Saturday. The long run felt really good.
This is the plan for this week...
5 today, 5 Thursday, 5 Friday, and 15 on Saturday. Then off on Sunday to the mountains for some skiing.
How was your week? By the way, I'm not going to start this off every week, especially if my training becomes unmotivated. Therefore, I'll need others to post as well to keep me motivated. Eighteen weeks to go!
Peace OUt.

not very good. last week i did 20 minutes on that stupid treadmill, 5 miles on thursday, and 4 on saturday. i was supposed to do 12 yesterday but the day became busy, and i'll have to do my long run on saturday before we go to the mountains. i'm getting sick of the cold, so hopefully it breaks, and i can feel good about running again.
I started this week. So far...Mon. rest, Tues 3, Wed. 2, Thurs. will be 3 and Sat. will be 6. I also do not know if I have the motivation to actually train for a marathon again. Half... yes whole ??? But I am going to give it a try. Anyway, good going Joel and Jonathan...you will get back to it no problem! Way to go everybody!!!! By the way..Happy Valentine's Day. I love you all lots!!!!!!! Mom
I'm going to do a little post for Gareth because I haven't yet let him in on our little secret family code. Just kidding...I really did tell him, but I doubt he remembers. Gareth did 7 miles yesterday on the treadmill at Deer Lodge in his new shoes and orthotics and his feet feel great! He wanted to get the long run out of the way before the big ski trip.

They are calling for warmer weather this weekend, which will be awesome for running. Sloppy, but warmer.
Sounds like things are going pretty well. Jonathan, you'll get back on track again, and mom, you can totally do it, but only if you want too, and either way, it's an awesome accomplishment. Gareth, 7 miles, and your feet feel great, that's also super. It must be those awesome socks. Did you try the moleskin? Oh, and to get a more accurate workout on a treadmill, you just need to add a little incline.
Anyway, I did 5 last night, and it felt great. Keep it up.
Peace OUt.

Oh, and one other thing. I called Grandma's Marathon yesterday and asked if they recieved my registration form. They said it wasn't in the database, which doesn't really mean anything because it takes a while to compute all the forms. But I explained the situation, about how I don't know how to put stamps on things, and he said that they probably just paid for it. So, it's looking quite promising that I'll be running in the Grandma's Marathon. I should receive confirmation in the next couple of weeks.
Peace OUt.
