so...
we have to get used to the new sounds i suppose. and the door handles are a bit weird. new curtains, a must. our new fridge makes a loud hum uncharacteristic of new fridges. and our washer and dryer don't fit down the stairs. this could be interesting.
with that said, nothing is really a big deal. new sounds, no problem. door handles and locks, no problem. new curtains, no problem. loud fridge, annoying, but you just hit it, no problem. washer/dryer, actually, with a saw, no problem. you see, they will fit down the stairs, they will not fit between the cupboards and the wall before the stairs. i guess we'll be "remodelling" the kitchen sooner than expected.
this, and our house is a complete mess. it doesn't feel like home yet...but it will...especially when the stove comes...
so, if anybody wants to help get the fridge and washer down the stairs, that owns a saw (preferebly electric) c'mon over. we have candy!

I'm glad things went relatively well. I wish I could have been there on Monday. Still waiting for that invite for supper. I guess it will be sometime after you get your stove:) Congrats on the new home. I hope you love it!!!

Jonathon - our new fridge was really loud too, until we levelled it. It made a world of difference! Plus, the newer fridges tend to actually be louder than old ones, but you get used to it eventually, and after some time you won't even hear it anymore. Had we known 6 months ago that you'd be needing a stove, we could have sold you ours!
