4 Weeks to Go
Greetings!
So, only 4 weeks until the marathon. It's amazing how quickly the past couple of months have gone by. How's the training going?
Last, week was a slow week for me in terms of training, but I made up for it with 15 miles on Sunday, and 12 miles yesterday. I might go today, or not, and then on Thursday I'm toying with the idea of running hills. How's everyone else doing? Let's stay motivated for the last 4 weeks.
Peace OUt.

Finally went out again this morning, after a week of not running. Felt a little discouraged again because my time was slow. Anyway, this is my 4 mile week with an 8 mile long on Sat. It seems very daunting right now. But i will continue!

Where is everyone? Today I encountered a different problem. The outside of my foot really began to ache. I think I need new shoes. These are still my shoes that i trained for and ran the marathon in and have been using since. I'm sure they have lots of miles on them!
Have a great day everyone!

Uh oh mom...time for new shoes. I think my physio husband would agree. Don't let it get too bad!
Gareth is doing another long run this weekend (I think). Last weekend he did 18 miles and it didn't go so well. His feet just weren't made for running. He said that if he came to see himself in physio, he'd tell himself to stop running and take up a different activity. (Did that make sense)? Anyways, we'll see if he's still able to pull off the full marathon. Keep up the great work everyone!!!

Sounds like there is some good training going on. I certainly recommend new shoes, and keep it up Gareth. Only 4 more weeks, and you never have to run again if you don't want to. Congratulations on the 18 milers. It doesn't matter if your feet are make for running or not, 18 miles is always hard.
One other thing...pray for me this weekend, it's our C&C Minitry Team Retreat. It will be good and I'm looking forward to it. Pray that God would lead us, that would would come together as a community, and that was would have a lot of safe fun.
Peace OUt.
