30 years

Helllllllloooooo!!! Anyone out there? Anybody got any ideas for Joel's 30th birthday and Father's Day? Where? When? Suggestions? Let's start planning.
Did you all notice the big yellow thing in the sky this afternoon? It was glorious to see!

Here I am mom. Sorry, it's been a very busy past week with two retreats in a row, but it's getting back to normalcy now, so that's good. Haven't been doing too much running the past while, I guess I'm "tapering", but I do plan on doing two long runs this weekend. And then taking it easy in terms of distance for the last two week, but maybe doing some higher intensity and some hills, but that's about it.
In terms of party, I'll be dead but something after the marathon would be fine with me. But it will need to be somewhere with a cool house, and somewhere that I can curl up and die in peace. Anyway, probably one of the greatest birthday presents is to have people take care of the boys so that either Colleen and I can go out, or so we can stay at home and just hang out and clean or do renovations or something like that. In terms of presents, I haven't put too much thought into it yet, and can't say that there is anything that I'm burning to buy. I know, sounds odd. Anyway, those are my thoughts for now.

Peace OUt.
Joel

After the marathon sounds fine to me... do you want to come here? to an air conditioned house? (hopefully the weather warrants air conditioning!) If it is a nice day, we can put out the pool eat in the gazy boo and have a great time. Or if you want to stay in the city that's fine as well.

It works for me! I think that might mean I'll have to miss Jonathan coming through the finish line because I will need to do some sleeping before we start partying. Perhaps someone can catch it on video or something.

Kristen, we will celebrate your birthday as well of course!!!!! How could we forget you!!! You are unforgettable! By the way, what do our biirthday people want for their birthdays? Kimberly, I would hate that you would miss Jonathatn come through on his first marathon. Is there any other way? Or will it be OK?
